Also, does the feature block adjust based on the size of the uploaded image? or does it take a particular depth? (I’d like to use a narrow set of images so the whole front page fits on one screen.)

I’m having a problem with the sidebar for this theme:
- I’m trying to show a sidebar that shows the open career positions and news (blog posts) consistently throughout the website.
- I also don’t want these posts appearing on the homepage, or any page they don’t belong; just the sidebar.
here’s the test site for reference:
Every bloody time I use the postcategory ID for the News posts, the post will show on the homepage! I just want them on my sidebar. Also, you see that the sidebar isn’t consistent throughout the site either (some show the news, others show the careers).
What on earth is going on here????
I purchased this theme over a year ago; does it require updates?
Help would be highly appreciated.

I’ve set a static fullwidth as the home page and would like to ‘Home’ tab on the menu bar to be active. What do I need to change in the headeer.php to do this?
Also, text widgets are showing the first few letters of text out side of the widget border on the left – both in IE and Firefox.

Hello, I am having another issue. Everything is working fine but for example when it comes to social media sharing: Facebook, myspace etc when I attempt to do so from the root page ( it pulls a social media Icon (which I removed from the main page) and the text from the first featured post. I’ve scanned the code everywhere for a solution. Have searched the web and found a few but none work. Ex: of one…
Inserted into the header.phpIdeally I would love to specify a specific Image, Title & Description for the main page only. It works perfectly from all the other pages, has the artist image with the little bio just not the main page which is really messing me up. I can’t see if maybe its coded that way I just can’t find it anywhere in the code.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Hello! I can’t find how I can disable the ‘All’ category in Portfolio Page gallery? I’d like to display my subcategories only without showing parent category (All). And entering the Gallery page show posts from the first portfolio subcategory.

Hello! Lovely theme and very easy to work with. Thank you very much for your work!! I have one question in regards to the images in the featured slider – is it possible to somehow grab a different section of the pictures?
I guess I’m not sure how to explain it, but if you look at my blog you’ll see I have 4 posts and out of the 4, 3 of them have odd samples of the images that were added in the posts. Even when I inserted a thumbnail size on the cow image it pulled just uhhh well, least attractive part of the cow to put in the slider. And for my daughter’s picture it pulled the electrical wires from the sky – top left corner of the picture….
